Who We Are. Good Home Construction is a boutique general construction company specializing in restoring, renovating, and remodeling vintage homes, and creating architectural elements to fit specific styles and themes. How We Started. It all started over eight years ago when we bought our very first fixer-upper, an adorable Spanish Revival bungalow home in up-and-coming historic Anaheim Colony. It had suffered a few unfortunate remodels in the 1980s and was abused as a rental property for several decades. Underneath all that grime and tackiness however, we saw the hidden potential and knew we could bring this little house back to its original glory. We dedicated almost 2 full years to salvaging what we could, restoring the hardware and woodwork to its intended sheen, and replicated everything else to make it look like it was back in 1929.
